The Buffalo Bills defeated Aaron Glenn and the New York Jets 30-10. QB Josh Allen performed well despite facing a stout Jets defensive line and secondary. Allen completed 14/25 pass attempts while rushing for an additional 59 yards in Week 2. Although Josh Allen performed well, Fantasy managers were rewarded with a meager 12 points, a far cry from his projections. Allen suffered a broken nose in the 1st quarter. He stayed in the game after the medical staff popped it back into place. Allen was not listed on the Bill’s injury list on Monday. Keep on eye if the former MVP is cleared to suit up for Thursday’s Week 3 matchup.

Bills RB James Cook flipped the script in Week 2 with 21 rushes for 132 yards and 2 touchdowns. Cook was unstoppable on the ground Sunday; the Jets’ defensive front did not contain Cook’s speed and power. Fantasy managers should feel content as the leadback averaged a healthy 6.3 yards per carry. Josh Allen and the Bills will look to keep their momentum going, facing the Miami Dolphins in Week 3. This will be a perfect opportunity for Allen and the Bills’ receivers to utilize the air attack.

The New York Jets crashed down to Earth in Week 2 against the Bills. Justin Fields‘ efficiency dropped massively from Week 1. Fields was removed in Sunday’s game with a concussion. The Jets QB completed an atrocious 3 passes on 11 attempts for 27 yards. Adding 49 yards on the ground and no touchdowns. Fields was unable to find a rhythm against the Bills’ defensive pressure.

Jets QB Tyrod Taylor, completed 7 passes on 11 attempts for 59 yards. Taylor connected on a 5-yard touchdown to Jets receiver Jeremy Ruckert late in the 4th quarter. Fantasy managers who have Justin Fields as their QB1 should monitor his availability as he progresses through NFL’s concussion protocol. The New York Jets head into a Week 3 matchup against Baker Mayfield and the Buccaneers.

Jets WR Garrett Wilson also underperformed with Fields struggling all afternoon. Wilson ended Week 2 with 50 yards on 4 catches and no touchdowns. If Justin Fields is not cleared to play, Fantasy owners should consider Wilson a flex in 12-team leagues.

New York Jets RB Breece Hall was held in check on the ground in Week 2. Hall ended his afternoon with 10 carries for 29 yards while catching 1 pass for 9 yards and no touchdowns. Hall was crowded by Bills defenders with each carry, making it difficult to find running space beyond the defensive linemen. Despite a disappointing performance, fantasy managers should feel confident Hall looks healthy and remains the lead back for the Jets. Hall is expected to handle a full workload in a Week 3 matchup against Tua Tagoavailoa and the Dolphins.

The New York Giants lost in overtime 37-40.It was an action-packed performance against NFC East rivals Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys. Giants QB Russell Wilson‘s vintage performance on Sunday reminded fans how elite Wilson once was and possibly still is. Wilson was stellar, completing 30/40 passes, 3 touchdowns, and 1 interception. Wilson added 23 yards on the ground on 3 carries.

Giants WR Malik Nabers led all receivers with 9 receptions for 167 yards and 2 touchdowns. Nabers’ request for additional targets was fulfilled on Sunday. Nabers returned to elite form on Sunday, making highlight worthy catches against a weak Cowboys secondary. Thanks to an efficient game by Russell Wilson, Nabers’ usage skyrocketed immensely. Fantasy managers who drafted Nabers can feel confident going into Week 3. Big Blue will face a tough Chiefs defensive unit. Kansas City is holding opponents to just under 200 passing yards two weeks into the 2025 season.

Wan’Dale Robinson has been a shining star in the Giants’ receiving core alongside Malik Nabers and Darius Slayton. Robinson crossed the century mark in Week 2 with 8 receptions for 142 yards and 1 touchdown. Robinson’s rise in volume and targets since the second half of the 2024 NFL season is notable. Robinson is technically 3rd in the Giants’ WR depth chart. However, Robinson’s 10 targets on Sunday are second on the team, only to Malik Nabers. Robinson is averaging almost 20 fantasy points a game and is available in 29% of fantasy leagues. I would highly recommend picking up the receiver quickly before a compelling Week 3 matchup against the Miami Dolphins. Giants deep threat receiver Darius Slay finished with 2 receptions for 60 yards and no touchdowns. Slayton will look to have greater impact on the field.

Cam Skattebo led the Giants’ RBs with 11 carries for 45 yards on the ground and 1 touchdown. It was encouraging seeing Skattebo on the field earning more carries despite the presence of Tyrone Tracy Jr. Skattebo seems to be handling early down work. Tracy Jr.’s 5 carries for 15 yards and 4 catches for 36 yards, will handle receiving portion. I would not recommend starting Skattebo or Tracy Jr. in 12-team leagues as their usage remains volatile to begin the season, so stash them on the bench for now.

Russell Wilson’s Week 2 performance was promising. Rumors from the New York Giants front office are circulating regarding replacing Wilson with rookie QB Jaxson Dart. Dart was subbed in several times during Week 2 in crucial moments of the game. Dart finished with only 1 carry for -4 yards. The Giants are keen on having Jaxson Dart become their QB1 at some point this season. For now, I believe Russell Wilson will remain under center for the Giants, especially after Sunday’s effort.
