The New York Knicks (46-27) won big in Milwaukee (40-33)defeating Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks 116-107. The Knicks were able to squeeze out a solid win despite shooting 48% from the field as a team. The Knicks made 14 out of 16 free throws as a team. The New York Knicks started the game strong before breaking away in the 4th quarter.

Leading the Knicks in scoring once again was Forward OG Anunoby with 31 pts, 2 assists, and 2 rebounds. Anunoby was aggressive on the floor, executing shots with confidence and driving to the basket with little hesitation against the Bucks. Knicks Forward Mikal Bridges had another solid game, dropping 26 pts, 3 rebounds, and 5 assists. Mikal continues to shoot the ball well, averaging 17.9 pts this season, providing Coach Thibodeau with defensive and offensive consistency at the position.

Guard Josh Hart played another beautiful game, grabbing 14 rebounds and 8 assists to add to his 13 pts. Hart plays his best whenever that buzzer goes off. Friday night’s double double against the Bucks proves why Hart’s formidable attitude and effort on the court are perfect in New York.

The Big Bodega Karl Anthony Towns finished his night with a double-double, scoring 14 pts and grabbing 10 boards. Towns is playing at an elite level for the Knicks, providing versatility and athleticism on both ends of the floor each night. Veteran Guard Delon Wright started his first game for the Knicks at Milwaukee, scoring 12 pts, 4 assists, and 3 rebounds.

Wright played well, not forcing shots up or turning the ball over. The veteran handled defensive tasks smoothly, influencing several of the Bucks’ 16 turnovers of the night. Wright commanded the New Yok Knicks offense with ease, but it was Coach Tom Thibodeau and teamates who showed their confidence in him. Wright stated it was “Definitely a good feeling.”
